Anti-Slip ladder rung covers have been used in industrial and commercial environments for some considerable time.
Increasingly they are being retro fitted to existing ladders as they provide an excellent safeguard against the potential for slips leading to accidents, injury and often compensation claims. Various styles and dimensions are available to suit most rungs.
Anti Slip Ladder Rungs
Anti slip ladder rung covers provide excellent traction to existing slippery or worn ladder rungs due to the robust alumina oxide grit incorporated into the rung cover.
They reduce the risk of slips from ladders and increase ladder safety due to the greater surface area available.
Slip protection is vastly improved by guarding against rainfall and frost as well as oil, chemicals or mud, thus raising the health and safety standards of the facility.
Generally supplied in yellow these ladder rung covers can come in any RAL colour – they can even come with a luminescent finish for greater visibility in low light conditions.

Available with a semi-circular or “U” shaped profile and internal widths of 20, 25, 30, 25 or 40mm
GRP ladder rung covers are a cost effective way of adding extra safety features to your ladders making them safer to climb. They can quickly and easily be installed over existing rungs using adhesives such as “Purflex” with additional screws/bolts are deemed necessary.

Colour Range
Black, Grey (RAL 7001) and Yellow (08 E 51) colour as a standard. However, rungs can be manufactured to any non-metallic coded colour from the following ranges:
A Colour Matching Service is available as well as a luminescent yellow option.

Compared with many other plastics GRP has minimal expansion and contraction characteristics and will not bow or warp in extreme temperatures.
