GRP Composite Flat Sheet & Anti Slip Products
GRP FYBATEX Panels are manufactured by combining hundreds of thousands of glass strands with pigmented thermoset UV resins, to produce an immensely strong and durable GRP whilst maintaining and attractive appearance.
These “through coloured” GRP panels are available in any RAL colour and with a number of finishes.
GRP Solid Colour Panels (Fybatex)
All our GRP Solid Coloured (FybaTex) products can be manufactured with a variety or combination of finishes. The inclusion of our unique surface membrane can significantly enhance the quality, appearance and lifespan of panels by providing a good level of U.V. and graffiti resistance.
Due to the extensive choice of colours, finishes and specifications of these panels they are manufactured to suit individual customer requirements. Where there is a risk of fire, BS 476 Class I or II systems come highly recommended.

Fabrication
FybaTex panels are either supplied in large sheets or cut to size (FOC). There are however occasions where panels have to be trimmed or drilled on site. Despite the high strength and impact resistance of the panels they are easily fabricated using conventional tools without risk of breaking or fragmenting.
U.V. Smooth
Incorporating a heat bonded polyester film to a resin rich and fibre free surface with a mid-gloss finish.
ResoTex
A high quality, through colour pigmented sheet with a two part polyester surface coating providing a lightly textured matt finish that has high U.V. resistance, very similar to high pressure laminates. We offer a minimum 10 year guarantee against significant colour degradation.
Crinkle
Excellent scuff, scratch and abrasion resistance. Embossed surface detracts from graffiti by marker pens and “carving” from sharp instruments.
GRP Bus Shelter
Bus shelters up and down the country are being fitted with crinkle FybaTex panels in the fight against vandalism as graffiti is easily removed and scratching with sharp instruments is deterred.
Woodgrain
A timber effect surface finish complete with grain and “knot” effect. Mid-gloss finish only
Leatherette
A lightly embossed surface texture which incorporates a clear heat bonded film coating with excellent U.V. and graffiti resistance.

Panel Size and Thickness
Panels can be manufactured to a maximum width of 1500mm and generally a length of 3500mm (however longer panels may be manufactured by special request). Standard product range can be manufactured from 2.5mm thick upwards. All FybaTex panels are manufactured within a dimensional and thickness tolerance. Note: Compared with many other plastics GRP has minimal expansion and contraction characteristics and will not bow and warp in extremes of temperature.

Cleaning, Maintenance & Installation:
In order to achieve an ongoing desirable aesthetic effect, panels should be cleaned as part of a regular maintenance plan. Panels can be cleaned by washing with soapy water, rinsed then wiped with a dry cloth avoiding smears – avoid using an abrasive medium on the surface of the panels. Due to the wide range of installation options available, general advice should be sought from the factory as to the most suitable method for each application. Exposed edges should be regularly re-coated with either a clear polyurethane varnish or a coloured topcoat supplied by the manufacturer. “On-site” cuts and drill holes should be appropriately sealed in a similar fashion, and mastic can be used to fill or seal drill holes.
